Writing Checks

In our French literacy class, the ladies recently learned how to write a check.  It's something most of us don't really think about.  Also, French checks are arranged a little differently and when we first arrived we didn't know how to write one, let alone spell everything correctly.  These ladies have never done this before, because they couldn't read.  So, they had a photocopy of a blank check and they filled out the checks.  The first one everyone did together and the second one they did on their own.  The looks of accomplishment on their faces were priceless!
